PANTONE has announced Emerald as its colour of the year for 2013… and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

Here’s an inspiration board for different colour palette ideas that can be used with this fabulous, vivid shade. Let the Emerald steal the show by pairing it with white, or pair it with a subtle, understated pop of colour like yellow or gold, or a lighter shade of green like seafoam. Or, if you’re going bold, why not go all the way and throw in a rich royal purple as your secondary accent colour.
